Job Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and BI specialists.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the analytics team, including sprint planning and workload prioritization.
- Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data analytics and business intelligence strategy that aligns with Bosta's business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to identify and address key business questions with data-driven insights.
- Data Analysis & Visualization:
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of insightful dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data solutions and ad-hoc analyses to support business needs.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Translate complex data findings into clear and compelling stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Additional Duties:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Working closely with the planning/performance team.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the field of data analytics.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting the use of data for decision-making at all levels.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role, with at least 2 years leading a team or management position.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
- Expertise in using BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau,Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business challenges into data-oriented solutions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced tech startup or the logistics industry is highly preferred.
