As a Data Analytics Associate, you will work with mid-sized businesses in diverse industries and receive hands-on client experience. Assigned to numerous projects per year, you will work on several pieces of any particular assignment, and you will feel a great sense of accomplishment on what you learned when you are done. Our Management Consulting CFO Services group provides strategy and advisory assistance to help health care providers increase their overall efficiencies, effectiveness and improve the IT alignment with the business functions and processes. Examples of projects will be health care denial, management, and performance analytics support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the support of Tableau Dashboards, which includes managing a portfolio of over 10+ Dashboards across multiple projects
- Assist in the support of Tableau Server upgrades and maintenance
- Perform activities using SQL, Tableau Prep, or other tools with a focus on task automation
- Support project analytics – understand the project needs and help define requirements for reporting solutions and data requirements
- Effectively documenting and communicating your insights and plans to team members and management
- Staying up-to-date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems and regulations
Skills and Experience
A successful candidate will have good attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, the ability to learn new technologies, functionalities, and processes quickly and the ability to work on their own as well as within a small team. Candidates should demonstrate willingness to go the extra mile for the team's success. They will be a leader, problem solver, creative thinker and interested in learning their clients' business.
Basic Qualifications
- Basic understanding of technology, including infrastructure, databases, and application/enterprise architecture
- Basic understanding of analytics tools and methods
- Basic understanding of business processes and concepts in process redesign
- Strong computer skills, experience with various software solutions e.g., PowerPoint and Word
- Strong data manipulation skills utilizing Excel, including database knowledge (Microsoft SQL, and/or Access knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues
- Ability to break complex issues into project steps and problem-solve
- Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- Highly self-motivated and directed character with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Enthusiasm and self-discipline to get the job done
- Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to apply theoretical concepts and best practices to solve business problems
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Excellent English writing and speaking skills)
Preferred Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university by the time employment commences
- ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) experience using Tableau Prep, SQL, Alteryx, or other ETL tools
- Knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau report development
- Experience upgrading both internal and client facing Tableau Server environments, including In-depth understanding of permissions hierarchy within the Tableau Server environment.
