Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is one of the leading business departments in the Corporate Bank working with clients around the globe. It has great dependency on IT platform to service the Bank’s clients. The group is working on technology refresh of their IT platform to enable new services for customers as well as to achieve next level of business processes automation.
In-house IT team already achieved great success designing, building and rolling out into production its strategic platform for TF&L business. Based on that success there is a further desire to build towards our strategic architecture.
Your primary focus will be to design and build the central data platform: analytics/MIS/BI and data model for TF&L business of the Bank.

Your key responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders and product owner to define MIS solution roadmap and requirements

Design, build and maintain MIS dashboards and data feeds; consolidate multiple datasets into datamarts and metrics for the business users and the clients of the bank

Define and maintain org-level central data model for TF&L business, evolve it to support project goals but keep it consistent for the future

Partner with data engineering teams to align the data platform technical roadmap with MIS requirements

Support audit, regulatory requests and management teams with data investigations, deep dives and ad-hoc analysis
Your skills and experiences
-
Experience in data analysis and data interpretation, good hands-on SQL knowledge (ClickHouse is a plus), experience in BI Tools, e.g. Tableau (preferred), Power BI, Looker etc. Python is a plus.

Understanding of dashboard design and data visualisation principles

Business requirements analysis and management skills; relevant experience in the banking sector is a plus

Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, communication with groups of SMEs, making decisions in a group setting

Experience in data modelling, logical and physical data models, protocol formats; experience in modelling tools e.g. Legend, Power Designer is a plus

Knowledge of data architecture, data pipelines, ELT/ELT, data quality controls

Fluent written and spoken English – you will communicate a lot on your job as part of a global team
