This Position reports to:
Chief Data OfficerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop end-to-end data products and outcome frameworks that power business intelligence & data outcomes across division functions. Each day, you will translate raw data into meaningful signals, surface trends that drive measurable performance improvements, and contribute directly to the lifecycle of scalable data products. You will apply your analytical expertise to design and deliver data components that are production-ready, well-documented, and built to evolve.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid | Bengaluru, India
This role is contributing to the Data & Analytics team within the Automation Energy Industries Division. Main stakeholders are Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain function leads.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Executing quantitative analysis that translate data into actionable insights.
- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports.
- Owning the knowledge capture and transferring of under-the-hood systems such as various architectural and design aspects and ensures they are well documented to maintain and enhance the overall system integrity.
- Contributing to design and coding related standards, technology, and tool selections and defines new data collection and analysis processes.
You will join a high-performing, intellectually curious team operating at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and product thinking, where your contributions directly shape how the business consumes and acts on data.
Qualifications for the role
- Masters/Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 0 - 2 years of professional experience in data analysis or business analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, or similar)
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Superior Excel skills or Power BI highly preferred.
- Knowledge of data model systems such as SAP, Salesforce is desirable.
- Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
