The Data Analyst team member will work with the Senior Manager Data Analytics and other methodologists to learn the Value Connect methods from the ground up in order to develop a deep understanding of the nuances of the Product and its use within the industry. This role is an ideal fit for an individual who enjoys self-directed problem solving as well as data analysis and research to support the measurement of US health care delivery relative to patient care, the performance of providers and health care systems and Value Based Care. This role works closely with Product by reviewing business use cases and creating and maintaining specifications to support use cases in the Value Connect UI. This role also works closely with Engineering in supporting the specifications and serving as a liaison with Product use cases. Additional UAT activities will involve working with both Product and Engineering teams simultaneously to produce defect-free deliverables for client consumption.
Primary Responsibility:

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in biostatistics, information systems or healthcare-related field or 2+ years work experience in IT or Healthcare Analytics industry
- 3+ years of working with health care claims data. This includes medical coding systems and groupers (i.e., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10, NDC, MS DRG, etc.) and common health care data terminology
- Familiarity with health care data quality assurance routines and expected outcomes, including an understanding of poor data quality and its impact on methods and analytics
- Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, AI tools, Power BI,UAT & Functional Testing's, Functional/UI Spec- Documentation
- Proven excellent oral and written communication skills
