We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau, Visio, and either Snowflake or IBM DataStage. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, building insightful dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Data Modeling & Integration:
- Work with Snowflake or IBM DataStage to design and manage data pipelines and data integration workflows
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data flow and storage
- Process Mapping & Documentation:
- Use Microsoft Visio to create process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system architecture visuals
- Document business requirements, data definitions, and analytics processes
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development
- Familiarity with Snowflake or IBM DataStage for data warehousing and ETL processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio for process and data flow documentation
- Solid proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Proven solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R
