Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support global pricing operations from our India location. This role focuses on managing large datasets, building dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to optimize pricing strategies and execution. You will collaborate with multiple GTM teams across US and India time zones, ensuring accurate pricing data flows, supporting price updates on the partner platform, accurate client billing and driving automation in reporting processes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with business acumen and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key responsibilities

Data Management & Analysis:

  • Retrieve, clean, and manage large datasets from multiple sources using SQL and advanced Excel.
  • Conduct pricing analytics to set optimal price levels for multiple complex data products.
  • Identify KPIs to measure the effectiveness of pricing and monetization strategy
  • Build and maintain pricing reports and Power BI dashboards for pricing performance and leadership insights.
  • Automate reporting processes and create data visualizations for decision-making.

Pricing Operations Support:

  • Track the execution of price changes, identify issues and make recommendations for change.
  • Execute ongoing price updates in the system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage customer-specific custom pricing in Sales Force, exclusions, and protections.
  • Ensure compliance with CDK-specific discounting guardrails and maintain reporting on actual rates versus annual pricing targets.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing proposals and communicate changes effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to ensure seamless implementation of pricing and monetization strategies.
  • Work independently and adjust work hours occasionally to align with U.S. time zones for critical meetings.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operational inquiries related to pricing data, reporting and pricing dashboards.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and timely delivery.
  • Excellent technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI (must-have), and advanced Excel.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in data analysis, pricing operations, or similar roles in SaaS, technology, or automotive industries.
  • Experience in data gathering, cleansing, and management.
  • Comfortable working remotely with international teams and adjusting to global time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with database systems (SQL-Server), analytical and reporting tools such as Power BI, or Cognos
  • Familiarity with APIs and data products in a SaaS environment.
  • Previous experience with pricing execution, reporting and dashboard design.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and capabilities of Agentic AI/ML.
