You’ll join the Team USA Analytics group — a small, distributed team dedicated to building the data foundations that power SumUp’s US operations. The team currently includes a Head of Analytics and an Analytics Engineer, collaborating remotely across time zones. Together, we’re tackling complex data challenges, designing reliable infrastructure, and transforming raw data into insights that shape business decisions.
We’re now looking for a hands-on, technically curious Data Analyst to help us build new data infrastructure, streamline reporting, and bring structure to complex datasets.
What you’ll doCollect, clean and model large, unstructured datasets into usable data marts and analytical layers
Build and maintain dashboards and reports that help business teams make data-driven decisions
Contribute to improving our data architecture, ensuring data quality, automation and documentation
Write and maintain code in Snowflake (SQL), DBT, and Git-based version control systems
Partner closely with stakeholders across multiple business domains to prioritize requests and deliver actionable insights under pressure
You have experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar role working with complex datasets.
You have working knowledge of SQL and experience with Snowflake and DBT (experience with TBDD or similar tools is a plus).
You’re comfortable with Git and automation workflows to manage version control and deploy changes safely.
You’re curious, proactive and able to suggest new reports, KPIs or data structures that improve our analytical capabilities.
You’re resilient under pressure, enjoy solving data puzzles and can work independently in a remote setup.
You’ll play a key role in building the data infrastructure that supports SumUp’s US operations from the ground up.
You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely from Brazil or Chile, ideally São Paulo, while collaborating with international teams.
