Position Summary: Senior Data Analyst
Avathon’s Renewable Suite is the world's leading AI enabled SaaS platform that provides asset performance management and prescriptive analytics software to ever growing renewable energy power plants by combining the power of machine learning, big data, and deep domain expertise. Our platform works across multiple asset types such as wind, solar, storage and DC coupled assets to offer insights to our customers across their fleets. In this role, you will be working closely with team members across domains with deep technical skills and passion for clean energy.
As a Senior Data Analyst:
- Responsible for building and automating quality control processes for the various data pipelines and perform data QA checks.
- Provide domain context and validate KPIs and algorithms to ensure that accurate values are reported
- Perform deep dives into data and help resolve customer queries
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working in renewable industry especially on performance analysis, availability and reporting
- Experience using data tools such as PowerBI/Tableau or similar BI tools
- Expertise in relational databases (MSSQL/MySQL/Postgres) and expertise in SQL
- Some experience in Python or R is required
- Motivated, can-do attitude and desire to make a change is a must
- Excellent communication and organization skills are a must
