We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst to join our Securities Services Data Platform team in Bangalore. The Analyst will support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our data lake solutions, working closely with the Executive Director, Vice Presidents, engineering, and business teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with leading data technologies and contribute to high-impact projects in the securities services domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
Perform data analysis to support business requirements, generate insights, and prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders. - Data Quality & Validation:
Assist in monitoring and validating data quality, lineage, and integrity across the data lake. Support the implementation of data quality frameworks and tools. - Data Pipeline Support:
Collaborate with engineering teams to support data ingestion, processing, and transformation activities, with exposure to Databricks and other cloud data platforms. - Documentation & Metadata Management:
Maintain accurate documentation of data sources, processes, and metadata. Ensure transparency and traceability of data assets. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Work with business users, technology teams, and other partners to gather requirements and support the delivery of data solutions. - Compliance & Governance:
Support data governance initiatives, including adherence to data security and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related roles (internships and academic projects considered).
- Familiarity with data lake technologies (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in securities services, financial data, or capital markets is an advantage.
