Title: Data Analyst

Duties: The Data Analyst (multiple openings available) at Skygen USA LLC in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin will develop, schedule, and generate reports including List, Matrix, Drill-Down, Drill-through, Chart, Cascaded reports, Multi-value, and Sub Reports by creating Expressions, Parameters, Sub-Reports, and Sorting & Grouping using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Build complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures for reports in SSRS and Windward to apply business rules while integrating data using SSIS. Resolve new or existing modification reporting tickets using Azure. Document development and technical tasks with detailed documentation in Service Desk (Ticket tracking system) upon resolution. Use Actual and Estimated Execution Plans in SSMS and SQL profiler to find long running queries and performance tuning by creating Clustered and Non-Clustered Indexes. Modify SSIS packages by using Control Flow Tasks. Create databases, tables, stored procedures, DDL/DML Triggers, Views, User defined data types, effective functions, cursors, and indexes using T-SQL. Create modified Tables, Views, Indexes, Functions, Triggers, and Stored Procedures according to business requirements. Analyze requests from internal and external clients to determine scope of request and determine requirements to successfully complete the request. Provide technical assistance to lead and support new and existing client implementation and maintenance. Maintain responsibility for timely and accurate project completion. Evaluate and confirm incoming/outgoing data sets meet defined requirements. Monitor and assess quality of data contained within system databases. Research and resolve issues as requested by internal and external clients. Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business processes and performance. Conduct QA Peer Reviews to validate requirements, code and data. Provide training, feedback and mentoring to department staff. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $73,528 – $105,098 per year.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field plus two years of experience as a Data Analyst or related occupation. 2 years of experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: (1) Business Intelligence tools including SSRS, SSIS and T-SQL; (2) T-SQL programming using cursors, Triggers, functions, Indexes and SQL Profilers; (3) Agile and string in Systems Developments Life Cycle (SDLC); and (4) preparing ad hoc data extracts, reports, technical assistance to support data projects.
