Apprenticely is helping Sowell Management hire a data analyst in Little Rock, AR

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision-making.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Participate in the design and optimization of business processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of financial software applications.
  • Working in various financial applications to ensure cleanliness and completeness of data. Daily tasks to ensure data flows through all systems correctly.
  • Collaboration with other departments to ensure data is created and maintained appropriately. 
  • Key player in the implementation or sunsetting of enterprise applications. Back up role for Network Administrator.
  • This role has an 80% focus on data and 20% on IT support for internal employees and clients. 
  • As a Data and Technology team member you will also be a point of contact for supporting Advisors with user access for Sowell enterprise systems and assisting them with usage and reporting. 
  • Ensure advisors’ needs are met by proactively finding and correcting data errors or inconsistencies.

What a successful candidate looks like:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Passionate about data accuracy and usability
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Degree in IT or related field, but not required.
  • Microsoft certification, preferred but not required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for sponsorship
  • Ability to work onsite at office in Little Rock, AR
