As a Data Analyst within PNC's Enterprise Data Management (EDM) organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
As a Data Analyst, you will be a member of the Enterprise Data Ingestion and Integration team whose mission is to bridge the gap between Business and Technology to facilitate the alignment, completeness and coverage of release management, requirements management, change management, access management, and production services for the applications we are the business owners for, as well as the capabilities and services we provide to the enterprise. In this role, you will support EDM for Enterprise Initiatives by possessing an understanding of PNC's Enterprise ecosystem, either Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) or Big Data Hub (BDH), and then provide support to determine impacts of large scale projects and initiatives to the ecosystem and its downstream users.
Core responsibilities include:
• Provide support to management, line of business users, data scientists, data engineers, and analysts for Enterprise Initiatives
• Data requirement tracking from creation through to testing for successful ingest/integration of new data related to Enterprise Initiatives
• Documenting/Communicating impacts to Enterprise Ecosystem related to new or changing data
• Providing support to downstream users to obtain downstream user readiness acceptance and sign-off
Due to the nature of the position, we are seeking a candidate who possesses a strong background in data research; which includes application strategy, communication, business requirements development and prioritization, access management, testing/validation, and controls. Preferred candidates will have a familiarity with Enterprise Data Ecosystem, as well as experience in one or more programming languages such as SQL or SAS, and familiarity with ETL tools, data warehouses, and Teradata/Hadoop/Oracle.

Job Description
- Provides support to the business and other internal IT organizations regarding data definition standards, architectures, and policies.
- Provides support to business users for mining and interpretation of warehoused and operational data.
- Plans and performs activities regarding designed data models for systems development.
- Resolves metadata and data sourcing problems. Maintains metadata and data dictionaries.
- Manages data definitions and data traceability within data repository to improve documentation and coordination.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
