About the job

We are seeking a Digital Intelligence & Data Analyst to support the analysis of complex digital environments and online information ecosystems. The role focuses on identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and influence dynamics across digital platforms, social media, and other online sources. You will transform large volumes of data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making within one of the European Institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, structure, and analyse data from digital sources, social media platforms, and online communities.
  • Produce quantitative and qualitative analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Monitor and assess online trends, communities, influencers, and influence campaigns.
  • Conduct information risk and disinformation analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with communication, marketing, public affairs, and leadership teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize monitoring, business intelligence, and large-scale data analysis tools to support research and reporting activities.

Profile requirements

  • Proven experience in Data Analysis, Digital Intelligence, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex datasets.
  • Solid understanding of digital media, social networks, and online behavioral trends.
  • Experience in reporting, data visualization, and the generation of strategic insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in strategic, sensitive, or institutional environments while handling complex information with discretion.

Desired Assets

While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an advantage:

  • Experience monitoring online influence operations, information risks, or disinformation activities.
  • Knowledge of OSINT, social media analytics, or digital monitoring methodologies.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with data mining, statistical analysis, or large-scale data processing techniques.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in communications, marketing, public affairs, or strategic advisory environments.
  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to identifying emerging digital trends and risks.
