Are you seeking a highly rewarding job with global impact?  This position may be the perfect fit for you!  At Leidos, our mission is to be the global leader in developing and applying technology to solve our customers' most complex challenges.  We are looking for a results-driven Data Analyst to join the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center (NEC) team at Fort Meade, MD.

This role is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to contribute to critical national security efforts.  The NC3 Enterprise Center serves as the Department of Defense’s lead organization for enterprise-level systems engineering and architecture for NC3.  Under the leadership of the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), the team leverages subject matter expertise and best practices to transform mission and operational requirements into effective solutions and capabilities.  This is a Mission Essential contract that must be performed under all circumstances to achieve its DoD component missions and responsibilities.

As a Data Analyst on the contract’s Enterprise Architecture Team, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams, government product and process owners, and stakeholders to support engineering and architecture activities for a large-scale enterprise.  You will support the development of Fit-For-Purpose enterprise level architecture viewpoints through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) based on Authoritative Source of Truth (ASoT) to support engineering analysis and data-driven decision-making by senior leaders that enables the modernization and evolution of NC3 capabilities.

This is your chance to be part of a team tackling some of the most significant challenges faced by our nation's leaders.  Working alongside our customer at Fort Meade, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills to meaningful work with far-reaching impact.  Don’t wait—join our team and be part of the solution.  Apply today!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to intelligence source for national defense decisions — Rapidly hunt down, connect, and synthesize NC3 data scattered across multiple documents, databases, networks, and classified storage environments to answer high-stakes queries from senior government and mission-partner customers who count on you for the definitive answer.

  • Turn raw data into strategic firepower — Deliver cutting-edge data retrieval, statistical analysis, and eye-catching visualizations that empower systems engineers, enterprise architects, and technical standards teams to make confident, data-driven decisions that shape the future of the NC3 Enterprise.

  • Pioneer the digital transformation of NC3 engineering — Champion data standards, digital modeling, and MBSE within the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment, and partner with enterprise architecture teams to capture user requirements and use cases that fuel next-generation architecture artifacts.

  • Set the gold standard for enterprise data — Collaborate directly with the NC3 Enterprise Data Governance Group (DGG) and Configuration Management team to build the data standards, management practices, and storage/analysis processes that keep one of the nation's most critical enterprises accurate, authoritative, and mission-ready.

  • Influence at the highest levels — Build predictive and trend models, document sharp findings, and craft recommendations that land directly on the desks of senior leadership — driving real improvements in NC3 enterprise governance and architecture while working shoulder-to-shoulder with the brightest minds in national defense.

  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI clearance (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of National Leadership Command Capability or Senior Leader Command, Control, and Communications Systems.

Experience collaborating with NC3 stakeholders including the US Air Force, Navy, and Space Force, NC3 Enterprise Center, USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM, Joint Staff, and OSD.
