Role Overview:

Skyhigh Security is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst (1–2 years of work experience) to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience working with real-world data, building dashboards, and generating insights that influence business decisions. You will play a key role in driving data-driven strategy by analyzing large datasets, improving data pipelines, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

About the Role:

• Collect, clean, and validate complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources.

• Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and basic predictive analyses to uncover patterns, trends, and drivers of business performance.

• Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports using BI tools.

• Work closely with data engineering teams to support and improve ETL workflows, data models, and data quality processes.

• Convert analytical findings into actionable insights, visualizations, and recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.

• Conduct A/B experiments, funnel analysis, cohort studies, and performance tracking.

• Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, report specs, and SOPs.

• Contribute to process optimization and automation to improve analytics delivery.

• Mentor junior analysts or interns where required.

About You :

• Results-driven Data Analyst with 1–2 years of experience transforming raw data into meaningful insights to improve business performance.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and optimizing relational databases.

• Hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and visualization.

• Solid knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions).

• Practical experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and visualization best practices.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) or version control tools (Git).

• Exposure to basic ML techniques (regression, clustering, classification) is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to turn data into compelling stories and actionable insights.

• Excellent communication skills—comfortable presenting findings to non-technical audiences.

• A self-starter with curiosity, ownership, and eagerness to drive improvements.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions.
   

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

• Experience working with large-scale datasets in a fast-paced environment.

• Exposure to experimentation frameworks, marketing analytics, or product analytics.

• Experience automating workflows using scripts or dashboards.

• Understanding of forecasting, time-series analysis, or statistical modeling.
