Role Overview:
Skyhigh Security is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst (1–2 years of work experience) to join our growing analytics team. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience working with real-world data, building dashboards, and generating insights that influence business decisions. You will play a key role in driving data-driven strategy by analyzing large datasets, improving data pipelines, and working closely with cross-functional teams.About the Role:
Collect, clean, and validate complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and basic predictive analyses to uncover patterns, trends, and drivers of business performance.
Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports using BI tools.
Work closely with data engineering teams to support and improve ETL workflows, data models, and data quality processes.
Convert analytical findings into actionable insights, visualizations, and recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.
Conduct A/B experiments, funnel analysis, cohort studies, and performance tracking.
Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, report specs, and SOPs.
Contribute to process optimization and automation to improve analytics delivery.
Mentor junior analysts or interns where required.
Results-driven Data Analyst with 1–2 years of experience transforming raw data into meaningful insights to improve business performance.
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and optimizing relational databases.
Hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and visualization.
Solid knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions).
Practical experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and visualization best practices.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) or version control tools (Git).
Exposure to basic ML techniques (regression, clustering, classification) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to turn data into compelling stories and actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills—comfortable presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
A self-starter with curiosity, ownership, and eagerness to drive improvements.
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)Experience working with large-scale datasets in a fast-paced environment.
Exposure to experimentation frameworks, marketing analytics, or product analytics.
Experience automating workflows using scripts or dashboards.
Understanding of forecasting, time-series analysis, or statistical modeling.
