Job Summary (12 months)

SCOR is looking for contender(s) who aspires to have an inspiring and challenging start to their career! We welcome applications from talents who have a zest for living and who are passionate about what they do. 

In this role, he/she will work closely with the actuaries, data engineers and technical accountants to build the database solution for South Asia. He/she will be driving the data management & database strategy for South Asia markets, including but not limited to data standardization, cleansing, validation, and other value-add services & initiatives. 

Responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Drive the formation of database solution and data pipeline for South Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and India)

  • Design and refine modules to process bordereaux data, including standardization, cleansing and validation

  • Draw preliminary insights from the data and perform necessary data transformations

  • Communicate any identified data issues with internal stakeholders and external clients

  • Streamline the data flow from central database to other tools / platforms for the purpose of technical accounting and experience analysis

  • Provide support on value-add services and data initiatives via collaboration with other departments

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Previous working experience or internship in data or actuarial field is not required but will be advantageous. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong data management and programming skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, preferably with hands-on experience in university or work

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
