Kroll is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst - Operations, to support their service line Operations teams in driving operational excellence across a global consulting practice.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who enjoys working with data, improving processes, supporting business operations, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions. The Operations Analyst will help ensure the accuracy of operational data, support business reporting, coordinate operational activities, and contribute to initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their service line.
The successful candidate will develop a broad understanding of professional services operations, project delivery, resource planning, and business performance within a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.
Day to Day responsibilities
Operational Reporting & Analytics- Prepare and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Support reporting related to revenue, backlog, pipeline, utilization, resource capacity, service delivery, and business performance.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate data into concise, actionable insights for leadership reviews and business discussions.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis requests from leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Validate and maintain operational data across key business systems.
- Perform routine audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify and escalate data quality issues that may impact reporting, forecasting, or decision-making.
- Support governance processes and operational standards across the practice.
- Document business rules, reporting logic, and operational procedures.
- Assist with resource scheduling, tracking, and coordination activities.
- Support project administration tasks, including data maintenance, reporting, and operational follow-up.
- Help monitor workload trends and resource utilization across the practice.
- Escalate operational risks, bottlenecks, or process gaps for resolution.
- Partner with Finance, Sales Operations, and Delivery teams.
- Support communication, reporting, and operational planning activities.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence

Prerequisites

1-3 years of experience in business operations, analytics, sales operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, or similar reporting tools preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Interest in cybersecurity and professional services operations.
