About This Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team in Berlin and drive data-driven marketing strategies across our customer products. This role focuses on optimizing marketing initiatives to acquire new customers and enhance retention across our diverse product portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with marketing domain expertise to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will:

  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze customer acquisition funnels across multiple channels and products
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing attribution models to accurately measure channel effectiveness.
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and availability
  • Perform statistical modeling to understand customer behavior patterns and marketing impact.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on campaign performance, identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives with data-driven insights and forecasts.
 Your Profile:
  • 3-5 years of marketing analytics experience with proven success in acquisition and retention analytics.
  • Experience working in multi-product or multi-market environments.
  • Background in e-commerce, digital marketing, or other customer-focused industries.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, and database optimization.
  • Expert-level Python for data transformation, modeling, and automation.
  • Experience with Git or similar version control tools and collaborative workflows.

Bonus points

  1. Hands-on Experience Building Marketing Attribution Models.
  2. Customer Retention / Lifecycle Analytics Experience (LTV, churn, cohorts)
  3. Experience with Causal Inference / Incrementality Testing
