What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, analytics, statistics, business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of work experience with business data for analytics and reporting with emphasis on Marketing Analytics (and more broadly CRM, financial, sales, product usage, contracts, marketing, and others).
- Operational experience with Marketing Analytics data and systems are a strongly desired, including Salesforce, Eloqua, Demandbase, GA4, Sprinklr, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, Google, Adobe Marketing solutions, and other marketing tech platforms
- Strong passion for problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify root causes and permanent resolution of issues
- Experience leading and participating on cross-functional teams, and with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization (internal customers)
Nice to Have: - Advanced hands-on experience using Alteryx, Python, SQL, Power BI, Fabric, Excel, JIRA, and related tools
- Solid understanding of databases and data transformation concepts
- Plan, organize, and maneuver obstacles to deliver results
- Self-motivated, results oriented, able to take initiative with little supervision
- Ability to manage time effectively, and balance priorities across multiple projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required)
- Experience working in an Agile environment (JIRA)
Impact You'll Make:
The Data Analyst, Consultant will work as a member of our Corporate Business Intelligence team to create end-to-end reporting solutions enabling internal audiences with insights to do their jobs at all levels of the company.
This role will have broad visibility and impact across the company with our stakeholders and will play an important role in transforming our culture to be insights driven. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of creativity, analytical and technical skills, be comfortable leading initiatives in collaborative cross-functional teams, and able to balance rapidly delivering on core needs while also architecting scalable, long-term solution roadmaps.
This position will be focused on the development of Marketing Analytics in close partnership with TU’s Global Marketing organization.
- Work closely with internal business stakeholders to analyze problems, develop solution requirements, manage project plans and deliverables
- Translate reporting-oriented business problems into scalable, implementable solutions
- Identify and acquire necessary data assets
- Transform and blend data from multiple sources as needed to power solutions
- Develop reporting ETLs, datasets, dashboards and visualizations for internal end-users
- Full solution development lifecycle responsibilities, including data analysis, scope estimation, architect, design, develop, test, document, launch to end-users, and ongoing maintenance/enhancement
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $105,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
