Primary DetailsTime Type: Full timeWorker Type: Contingent WorkerThe purpose of this role is to apply scientific principles and data-driven analytics to improve the quality and performance of business units. This involves supporting to translate stakeholders' needs into analytically tractable problems, applying scientific methods and big data tools to resolve them, and communicating findings back to business owners. The role also includes contributing to technical project delivery and serving as a modelling and data science partner for assigned business areas to ensure scientific integrity in work products.
Your New Role:
- Support basic data needs for assigned areas of responsibility by reviewing requests, identifying correct databases, and extracting relevant data for key stakeholders.
- Facilitate delivery of reliable data insights by following established guidelines to analyse, test, and manipulate data, escalating issues for troubleshooting.
- Assist with ad-hoc reports and special projects by analysing requests, manipulating data, and ensuring reports align with business needs.
- Implement policies, programs, and directives from senior management to respond to business decisions.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value key principles.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Design, develop, and manage the production of reporting, analysis, and dashboards to provide insights and adhere to best practices.
- Identify and proactively report key risk areas for People programs, ensuring successful resolution.
- Actively engage with stakeholders to determine areas of improvement in existing processes.
About You:
- Bachelor to Postgraduate Degree in a Quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines.
- Experience in producing insights from large datasets.
- Analytics experience with R, Python, Spark.
- Collaborative programming project experience.
