We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Analytics Consultant with strong expertise in Power BI, CPG/FMCG analytics, pricing analytics, and distribution analytics. The role focuses on transforming complex commercial and operational data into actionable insights that support pricing, sales, distribution, category, and business decisions.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with business understanding and hands-on data visualization skills. You will work with large datasets, develop interactive Power BI dashboards, identify commercial trends, and translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business and commercial data to generate actionable insights across CPG/FMCG operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, metrics, data models, and visualization requirements.
- Conduct pricing analytics to evaluate price performance, pricing trends, price realization, discounting, and commercial opportunities.
- Perform distribution analytics to assess distribution reach, availability, outlet/channel performance, geographic coverage, and distribution effectiveness.
- Analyse sales, revenue, volume, product, customer, channel, and category performance.
- Identify trends, anomalies, performance gaps, and key business drivers through structured data analysis.
- Develop dashboards for sales performance, pricing, distribution, product performance, and other commercial KPIs.
- Work with stakeholders to define analytical questions, reporting requirements, business rules, and success metrics.
- Perform data preparation, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure analytical accuracy.
- Build appropriate data models and relationships to support scalable Power BI reporting.
- Develop calculated measures, KPIs, filters, drill-downs, and interactive visualizations in Power BI.
- Monitor dashboard performance and optimize data models, queries, and reports where required.
- Combine data from multiple sources to develop comprehensive commercial and operational insights.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to business and senior stakeholders.
- Support business teams in interpreting dashboards and using data for decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support pricing, distribution, sales, category, marketing, and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain documentation for data definitions, reporting logic, KPIs, dashboards, and analytical methodologies.
- Collaborate with data, technology, sales, marketing, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting automation, analytical processes, and business intelligence capabilities.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, analytics consulting, commercial analytics, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and enterprise dashboard development.
- Proven experience in CPG/FMCG analytics, commercial analytics, sales analytics, or consumer business analytics.
- Strong understanding of pricing analytics, including price realization, pricing performance, discounts, and pricing trends.
- Hands-on experience with distribution analytics, including distribution coverage, channel performance, availability, and geographic analysis.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets from multiple business sources.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data preparation, KPI development, and business reporting.
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards using DAX, calculated measures, Power Query, data relationships, filters, and drill-downs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify business trends and translate them into actionable insights.
- Ability to understand commercial objectives and connect analytical findings with business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis to non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and reporting quality.
- Ability to manage multiple analytical projects and competing priorities independently.
- Experience with sales, revenue, category, customer, channel, or supply-chain analytics is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Excel and other data-analysis tools is desirable.
- Experience with FMCG/CPG sales and distribution datasets, trade promotion analytics, revenue growth management, or category analytics is an advantage.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
