The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, develop scalable reporting solutions, and deliver meaningful insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using enterprise BI tools.
- Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and reporting layers to support self-service analytics.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and data validation activities.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation and quality assurance processes.
- Partner with Data Engineering and cross-functional teams to understand data structures, business rules, and reporting requirements.
- Troubleshoot report, dataset, and data-related issues and drive timely resolution.
- Document business requirements, KPI definitions, reporting logic, and technical specifications.
- Contribute to reporting standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the BI ecosystem.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on business performance metrics and key operational indicators.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Power BI including:
- Data modeling
- DAX calculations and measures
- Power Query
- Dashboard and report development
- Performance optimization
- Experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting concepts, and business intelligence best practices.
- Experience working with large datasets from multiple enterprise data sources.
- Strong Excel skills including data analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
- Exposure to ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of data governance, report lifecycle management, and reporting best practices.
- Experience supporting operational, management, or executive-level reporting.
