The opportunity

The Data Adoption Lead will be responsible for driving the successful adoption of strategic data-driven initiatives across AUSPAC (including but not limited to the embedment of QSight and AUSPAC's GenAI Program). This role will help to bridge the gap between data teams and business users, ensuring that key data changes are effectively understood, adopted, and sustained.

 

Your new role:

The Data Adoption Lead will play a key role in simplifying the complexities associated with the delivery of data initiatives, applying a people centric approach to adoption management, identifying and delivering for the mindset and behaviour changes required to sustain adoption success, and collaborating with relevant teams to synchronize data adoption efforts to minimise the change experienced by end users. This role will also be required to work closely with the Data Community, Adoption & Innovation team to ensure alignment with broader Data & Analytics strategic engagement activities and the consistent communication of the data narrative.

 

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic engagement activities necessary for the successful business adoption of strategic data initiatives 
  • Evaluate the technology, process and people impacts to determine necessary support materials required for adoption success. 
  • Identify and tackle potential barriers to adoption, partnering with business leaders to ensure a seamless transition for impacted employees. 
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of adoption initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes. 

About you:

You will have strong experience and familiarity with data analytics, processes, and governance practices with the ability to transform complex data concepts into compelling narratives that drive change. Having the ability to manage multiple change initiatives to meet delivery timelines, you will be able to identify and solve problems related to data adoption. Collaborating closely with relevant teams (e.g., Change Chapter and HCD), you will help synchronize data adoption efforts and minimise changes experienced by stakeholders.

You will have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Confidence with presenting and engaging with both business and technical stakeholders  
  • Ability to manage multiple change initiatives and meet delivery
