The DBS Leader (DBSL) is responsible for optimizing organizational performance at the New Port Richey facility by enhancing the alignment and efficiency of business processes and enabling continuous, sustained improvement through the implementation of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies. This role supports enterprise priorities including Innovation, Growth, and Lean, and partners with site leaders and associates to build internal DBS capability through training, kaizen leadership, and disciplined application of DBS methods.
This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Operations department and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is typically Monday-Friday.
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead the implementation and sustainment of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at the New Port Richey site to achieve Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP).
Drive targeted, sustainable business improvements by applying DBS tools, kaizen methodology, Daily Management (DM), and structured change management aligned to site PD priorities.
Develop and execute the site DBS roadmap, including identification of critical DBS tools (current and future), aligned to business needs and long-term site sustainability.
Coach, train, and develop site leadership and associates to build internal DBS capability, including formal and informal DBS training and kaizen leadership development.
Plan, lead, and sustain kaizen events, ensuring compliance with the DBS kaizen process, including funnel management, execution, results validation, and sustainment.
Actively participate in KPI and Daily Management reviews, identifying gaps, resolving systemic issues, and providing expert DBS guidance to drive results.
Partner with the DBS Office (DBSO) and enterprise resources to continuously evolve DBS tools, ensure alignment to Danaher standards, and facilitate external DBS training support as needed.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred
Experience assessing and interpreting key business performance metrics (e.g., Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation) to support operational improvement initiatives
Experience delivering structured training and coaching to leaders and associates on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
Experience designing, developing, and supporting continuous improvement roadmaps for an operating business using Lean, Continuous Improvement, or comparable business system methodologies
Hands‑on experience applying a variety of continuous improvement tools (e.g., kaizen, problem solving, standard work, visual management) within a manufacturing or operations environment and demonstrated experience managing improvement initiatives or projects, including planning, prioritization, execution, and sustainment of results
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
DBS, Lean, or Continuous Improvement certification
Experience supporting regulated or government‑linked manufacturing environments
Experience partnering with enterprise CI organizations (e.g., DBSO, consultants)
