The Quality Supply Chain Lead is directly responsible/accountable for the “customer interfacing” Supply Chain functions, i.e. Demand Forecasting, Customer Services & Logistics incl. NPI, InMarket Supply, Repacking and Warehouse & Distribution and forms first point of contact for BU/Market GMs also for all topics related to the Quality function.
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide functional input into the BU strategic plan and contribute through local cross-functional collaboration to the budget and latest outlook activities
- Translate EU QSC strategy into local implementation plan
- Define the customer collaboration roadmap and strategy to optimize our performance with our customers – impacting service and costs
- Member of the EU/BU Quality Supply Chain leadership team, contributing and influencing overall strategic direction and objectives.
Organisational Leadership:
- Member of the BU as well as Market Leadership Team (double hatting) contributing and influencing overall strategic direction and objectives of the business team
- Single point of accountability for end-to-end Supply Chain, Service, and Cost for the BU and market GMs and BU/market Leadership team. That includes strong interaction with the Austrian JV.
- Be the representative for Quality function in the BU LT and help driving key initiatives for compliance and efficiency
- Drive customer collaboration to improve external relationships and satisfaction.
- Champion the customer throughout the E2E supply chain.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance in BU QSC operations.
- Drive relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) across DACH.
- Manage and develop direct reports as well as the whole QSC team.
- Embed a truly E2E, well integrated and diverse QSC team.
- Advise, consult, and coordinate with BU/Market Commercial and Non Commercial teams.
Operational Performance:
- Overall oversight of Quality Supply Chain performance – ensuring customer service, cost and process efficiency and cash delivery to enable business growth agenda.
- Set performance metrics objectives and drive rigorous Performance Management.
- Drive down Leg B and C distribution as well as warehousing costs.
- Best in class L2C processes and enhanced customer service.
- Accountable for the Quality Supply Chain management team and customers for end-to-end quality supply chain.
- Accountable for the continuous improvement of IBP process and the system landscape enabling an efficient and effective IBP process.
- Deliver continuous improvement to increase productivity within the Quality Supply Chain from Demand Forecasting to deliver to Customers, achieving tangible results in inventory reduction, forecast accuracy, customer service, lead-time reduction, cost reduction, process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End leadership of the BU and market Quality Supply team covering Demand Forecasting, Customer Services & Logistics, In-Market Supply, Repacking, and Warehouse & Distribution.
- Focus the end-to-end quality supply chain on aligning to deliver against customer needs / demand at the market level
- Part of the BU Leadership Team and the single point of contact for BU/Market General Managers on end-to-end Quality Supply Chain Performance.
- Complete ownership of the optimization of business delivery and QSC P&L at the BU/Market level
- Drive functional excellence supported by EU QSC team and Haleon shared service.
- Drive Customer collaboration and improvement projects to become first choice for our customer
- Build strong links to central functions, such as European planning, sites, and global Logistics function.
- Responsible for reporting of packaging waste and management of third parties involved in the process. Gain understanding and keep aware of evolving regulations in this area. Work with Leadership Team to adapt Quality Supply Chain to prepare for future impact.
