About the role:

The D365 Business Analyst (Finance & Supply Chain Management) translates complex operational needs into scalable functional requirements, configures optimal system solutions, and coordinates deployment, security, and user acceptance testing across the enterprise supply chain, production, and finance networks.

Responsible for leading functional strategy, configuration, and continuous optimization within Microsoft D365 F&O, with ownership spanning advanced warehousing, production, and integrated financial workflows across all manufacturing, shipping, and corporate facilities. This role is accountable for maximizing out-of-the-box system capabilities, defining user security, and validating complex integrations between standard commercial software and custom automated production solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document operational requirements, prioritizing out-of-the-box D365 functionality over custom development.
  • Design, configure, and optimize end-to-end processes across Advanced Warehousing (including wave processing and containerization), Production Control, and Finance modules.
  • Formulate and maintain the D365 F&O role-based security framework and manage system-wide automated workflows, including AP automation.
  • Provide day-to-day functional end-user support, investigating and resolving production issues and system bugs across all implemented D365 modules.
  • Define, document, and execute comprehensive functional test requirements, guiding end-users through user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing for order integrations.
  • Lead the development of training collateral, business scenario documentation, system walkthroughs, and hypercare support for D365 F&O implementations and new feature releases.

Other Job Functions:

  • Azure DevOps administration and release management tracking.
  • Partner vendor management and technical consultant coordination.

Experience & Skills we value:

  • Expert functional knowledge of D365 F&O Advanced Warehousing (WMS) configurations, specifically wave processing, work templates, location directives, and containerization.
  • Strong functional configuration knowledge of the D365 F&O Production Control module and core Finance modules (GL, AR, AP, and Fixed Assets).
  • Skilled in gathering business, technical, and functional requirements and translating them into standard D365 configurations.
  • Skilled in designing, mapping, and implementing D365 system workflows (including AP automation) and role-based security matrices.
  • Skilled in identifying system gaps and conducting out-of-the-box vs. customization evaluation.
  • Able to support end-to-end data integrations between D365 F&O and external third-party commercial systems.
  • Proven skill as a corporate presenter and facilitator, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
  • Able to manage competing functional priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 6+ years of hands-on functional analyst experience configuring, implementing, and supporting Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management(F&O) environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.  Major: Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to have and/or you’ll learn:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps for tracking requirements, bugs, and release cycles.
  • Experience with D365 F&O implementations within the Manufacturing or Supply Chain industries with a Direct-to-Consumer business model.
  • Experience managing D365 independent software vendor (ISV) solutions.
  • Microsoft Certification within Dynamics 365 F&O (e.g., MB-330 SCM Functional Consultant or MB-310 Financials Functional Consultant).

What We Do

Double Good is a company built on creating joy and helping others. By reimagining product-based virtual fundraising, we help expand organizations' missions by giving back 50% of every dollar sold. We make ultra-premium popcorn sold through our simple-to-use software. We've helped raise over $200 million to support organizations nationwide that tilt the playing field for all kids. Double Good is not a popcorn company nor a digital company. It is a team of makers, designers, and problem-solvers dedicated to simplifying fundraising challenges and enabling communities to thrive. The soul of Double Good lies in the mission of creating and sharing joy. We built our fundraising platform on the idea that connecting with supporters should be simple, approachable, and effective. The funds raised go on to relieve the high costs of education, extra-curricular activities, community engagement, and athletic development. We partner with purposeful organizations to benefit students and athletes facing physical, intellectual, and financial challenges. Our goal is to amplify marginalized voices and push the boundaries of access to academic and athletic activities by contributing experiences, equipment, and educational opportunities to the communities that crave them the most.

Why Work With Us

Double Good strives to create joy for both its customers and employees. We strive to have employees feel supported and like they can grow in the company through professional development, coaching, volunteering, and more. Double Good employees deliver excellence, own it, build relationships, and enjoy the ride.
