Purpose of the Role
Contribute to expanding the eStore market coverage by setting up a product line-up operation plan.
Contribute to maximizing sales and minimizing loss by managing product lifecycle and developing pricing strategy to meet the target sales for the product.
Role and Responsibilities
Key objectives
The successful candidate will be the owner of eStore Consumer Electronics products category and support business strategy and decisions within eStore Consumer Electronics category.
Main responsibilities
- Category Owner will be responsible for business analysis of online Consumer Electronics sell-out performance and competitors benchmarking
- Working in close coordination with both the Centre of Excellence team based in Warsaw and relevant local divisions, this role will work to strengthen Consumer Electronics business performance.
- Preparation of regular reports for main KPIs
- Keep contact with the headquarter, the Centre of Excellence team and the European headquarter in order to solve all problems that arise.
- Ensuring ongoing business overview – including recommendations regarding appropriate product mix and sales forecast
- Preparation of product based online sales planning & forecasting
- Participation in setting pricing tactics of each segment and model
- Leading and managing the launch process of new Consumer Electronics products
- Keeping implementation scheme, identifying potential risks and overcoming them if needed
- Effective and on-time product launch guaranteeing expected sell- out performance by executing the headquarter product strategy and adaptation to local market requirements
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
- Previous working experience in pricing or product management for min 3-5 years
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hungarian and English is essential
- University degree is welcomed
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Well-developed learning agilities
- Strategic minded and be able to integrate local product demands into pan-EU category strategy
- Ability to analyze the market and establish our strategies against the competition
- Well-rounded marketing knowledge to drive marketing communications teams to deliver exceptional solutions to support the category execution
- High self-motivation with the ability to identify opportunities and translate them into ideas, solutions, initiatives that directly impact the business performance
