Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Project Manager Lead who will support the delivery of mission enabling Information Technology Service Management/Integration and Cybersecurity for a large environment of critical national security importance. The Cybersecurity Project Manager Lead  will support operations for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

THE MISSION 

The successful candidate will provide oversight and leadership to a talented communication security team for the NNSA OCIO enterprise, including managing the secure transmission and receipt of data, narrative, and facsimile communications, using Secure Information and Management Exchange (SIMEX) and other secure communications systems. The services shall also include the installation, configuration, maintenance, and inventory for all secure telephone devices.  

The Cybersecurity Project Manager Lead will drive the execution of cybersecurity initiatives and projects across the organization. This leadership role requires a combination of deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity and strong project management expertise. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our information assets while leading cross-functional teams to deliver security-focused projects on time and within scope.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, execute, and close cybersecurity and IT security projects.

  • Oversee cross-functional project teams and ensure coordination across departments.

  • Ensure security protocols, risk assessments, and threat management processes are followed.

  • Collaborate with IT, compliance, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with security policies and business objectives.

  • Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity principles and project management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field and 12+ years of prior relevant experience OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field with 10+ years of experience can be beneficial and may enhance your qualifications.

  • Must possess one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),Project Management Professional (PMP),Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM).

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in information security or a related field.

  • Proven hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT, including risk assessments and security protocols.

  • A minimum of 8 years of project management experience in IT or cybersecurity environments.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and collaborating across departments.

  • DOE Q clearance required.

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
