Senior Manager Information System Security and Compliance Engineering, Global Cloud Services Operations

Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated, collaborative and technically experienced Senior Manager of Information Security and Compliance Engineering with the ability to understand cloud operations and technology to manage a team that provides remediation guidance and proactively monitors and identifies risk, effectively communicates those risks and drives remediation/changes within the Global Cloud Services organization. The successful candidate must be reliable, resourceful and have a “can-do” attitude and demonstrate the ability to manage difficult problems, think out-of-box and provide pragmatic solutions and recommendations.


In this role you will report to the Senior Director of Governance, Risk and Operations Compliance. You will manage a team of information security and operations compliance engineers and the processes to evaluate and monitor systems, services, and datacenter deployments to address ServiceNow’s information compliance requirements, proactively identify risk and support risk remediation.


What you get to do in this role:

· Manage and develop a team of Information Security and Compliance engineers.

· Create scalable security and compliance process for change reviews, control monitoring, compliance risk analysis, remediation, and validation.

· Build and foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure security and compliance is understood and part of the mindset.

· Develop, analyze, and publish metrics to provide transparency and improve Global Cloud Services information security and compliance programs and associated outcomes.

· Drive remediation/mitigation discussions, to ensure engineered solutions address information security and compliance finding or gaps.

· Build information security and compliance onboarding/significant change request process for updated or new product applications, features, deployments, and functionality to ensure control alignment at onset of change.

· Support the evangelization of compliance controls to drive control owner awareness and education to ensure compliance controls are implemented, maintained and compliant.


Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

· 7+ years working in the field of security, compliance, or audit

· Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a team of engineers

· Demonstrated ability to understand the intent of compliance requirements to provide effective and meaningful analysis, test case design and remediation recommendations

· Strong technical experience with system configuration and architecture review

· Demonstrated ability to interface successfully with all levels of leadership in critical and challenging conversations

· Experience with cloud federal and commercial compliance certifications and attestations such as PCI, SOX, FedRAMP, DOD SRG, Australia ISMS, Singapore MTCS, German C5, France HDS and S. Korea K-ISMS

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships

· Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a passion to make an impact

· Prior experience at a SaaS, PaaS or IaaS Cloud company.

· Willing to travel up to 25% is required.

Candidates must be able to meet all US Federal government security screening requirements as indicated: US Federal security screening requirements call for applicant to verify U.S. Citizenship. Additional customer screening requirements may include additional items such as, but not limited to specialized agency background checks (either national or local) and fingerprinting, as well as the ability to obtain a government personnel security clearance.
