Regional Security Manager - Enterprise Safety & Security

Enterprise Safety & Security (ESS) is seeking an experienced Regional Security Manager who will serve as the primary point of contact between ESS and Capital One's lines of business (LOB). The Manager will provide advice and solutions that mitigate operational, strategic and tactical risks for the Tysons Headquarters facility location(s). Capital One has an extensive and experienced security team supporting Capital One’s global footprint and landmark headquarter’s campus in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity and confidentiality, championing Capital One's vision and values.
Develop and provide comprehensive security management solutions to ensure the safety and security of Capital One Financial (COF) assets and associates.
Maintain the ability to manage staff across diverse regional environments to include open campus environments and corporate facilities.
Security experience and the ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders across multiple business units, regions or similar experience in a large security consulting/contract security firm with regional responsibilities.
Proven ability to develop, manage and strengthen relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement, emergency management officials and organization
Proven experience partnering with internal and external clients to further organizational objectives.
Proven ability to execute on deliverables and provide a high level of customer service
Responsibilities:
Provide security consulting to internal and external Enterprise Safety & Security clients in a regional area of responsibility
Perform regional vulnerability assessments that ensure Capital One LOBs and corporate facilities are compliant with corporate standards, industry requirements and governmental regulations pertaining to security
Forge partnerships with Enterprise Safety & Security colleagues and external clients on security-related programs
Effectively influence associates across the organization to implement and support security programs
Establish and maintain collaborative client relationships
Responsible for planning, organizing and executing assurance reviews of existing and emerging regional security programs to ensure the safety of Capital One associates and provide a safe workplace
Review data to determine security and safety trends and risk mitigation
Builds partnerships with law enforcement and other security professionals
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree; military experience or 3-5 years of experience
At least 5 years of experience in Physical Security, Security Risk Management, Threat Management, or Security Operations Management
At least 5 years of experience in Program Management or Security Consulting
At least 5 years of experience in relationship management or management of contract security staff
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
At least 7 years of experience in Physical Security, Security Risk Management, Threat Management or Security Operations Management
At least 7 years of Analysis Program Management
