The F135 Technology Project Manager manages & leads an Integrated Product Team to develop, manage and execute the Technical Integration Management Technology Roadmap. This position will lead the integration of agile teams to drive the development and deployment of digital utilities that improve key processes. The Technology Project Manager will partner with ALIS SSIPT, ME Digital Roadmap and F135 Digital Strategy to ensure alignment across TIM SCRUM teams, dependent data system functionality, requirements integration & improvement of Technical Integration Management digital utilities.
The key job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Leadership:
- Embrace and leverage the PW Leadership Operating Model to drive empowerment and horizontal and vertical alignment across the enterprise, and to create a high-performing organization for our customers, our stakeholders, and each other.
- Provide emotionally intelligent leadership to a technically diverse team at both a technical and programmatic level
- Demonstrated ability to engage with people both personally and professionally to meet program goals
- Provide strategic decisions to lead the development, deployment, and operational support of new and existing technology
Contracts/Budget Management:
- Provide strategic leadership for contract negotiations to include support for basis of estimate and associated proposal initiatives
- Ensure customers and P&W team execute work within the terms and conditions or relevant statement of work as they pertain to data system deliverables
- Ensure resources are properly identified within a given scope of work or task
- Provide active management for budgetary needs to include a method to identify financial anomalies and a resolution to get program back on plan
Customer (Int/Ext):
- Develop and manage TIM Roadmap that will lead the integration and management of AGILE SCRUM teams across Technical Management and Fleet Data Management centered processes and deliverables
- Develop & execute plans to eliminate manual key processes across the TIM SIPOC and improve efficiencies
- Lead the development & integration of requirements and systems across the TIM that enable the program to meet goals
- Drive the improvement key processes to address the throughput and quality of deliverables
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, logistics or management disciplines and minimum 8 years relevant experience.
- Excellent presentation skills, project management, and strong leadership skills are required
- Experience in jet engine fleet management, and proficiency in fleet sustainment processes
- Development and execution of software/data solutions and integrated logistics support required
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Agile trained and or certified, full understanding of Agile software development life cycle
- Skilled at communicating complex data management concepts to diverse, global, and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge and experience with Hadoop HDFS, HIVE, Oracle, Postgres, Python, or APIs
- Experience in PW-ALIS Data Dependent ECO System
- Experience with providing sustainment services to military services i.e. (USAF,USN,USMC)
