Bachelor Degree

Preferred Fields of Study:
Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Analysis, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology

Certification(s) Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Administrator
  • ITIL Foundation

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success with the following activities:
  • Participates as a member of an implementation project team;
  • Provides ServiceNow administration duties;
  • Delivers hands-on configuration development of the ServiceNow platform, integrations, MID servers, and various other related systems as a project requires;
  • Works with Service Management Consultants to build the system from specific client requirements;
  • Documents design, specific solutions, and client-facing materials;
  • Documents custom solutions and internal materials;
  • Configures proof-of-concept and demonstration solutions to support sales and other related efforts;
  • Participates in continuous improvements for implementation methodology and service offerings;
  • Builds internal practice methodologies, guides and intellectual property to improve consistency and quality for client delivery;
  • Has knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Jellyor similar web technologies;
  • Has the ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) during project delivery;
  • Provides hands on experience administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform and working knowledge of relational databases; and,
  • Has knowledge of IT Operations Management including basic networking principles, virtualization, cloud computing, availability monitoring and analysis as well as configuration management.

A Service Management Consultant focuses on facilitation and documentation of business requirements, documentation of functional requirements, facilitation of iteration reviews, authoring of functional and user test scripts, and facilitation user testing activities.The Service Management Consultant is responsible for defining how a client's Service Strategy, Service Organizational Design, Service Processes, and Service Operations are made operational with their enabling technologies.
