Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities may include one or more of the following areas:
- Security Monitoring and Analysis: Assist in monitoring our network and systems for security incidents. Analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- DevOps Integration: Collaborate with our DevOps team to integrate security best practices into our continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Help automate security controls and processes.
- Vulnerability Management: Support vulnerability assessment and management efforts. Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities across our infrastructure and applications.
- Tool Development and Engineering: Contribute to the development and enhancement of security tools and scripts. Help build automation scripts for security monitoring, logging, and response.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in CyberSecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with CyberSecurity principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.
Bonus Skills:
- Previous coursework in CyberSecurity, DevOps, or Engineering.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS).
