Responsibilities:
- Data Collaboration: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preparing large datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity.
- Model Development: Support the development and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms aimed at improving security event detection.
- Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conduct EDA to help identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform security decisions.
- Reporting & Visualization: Help prepare data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Research & Improvement: Explore the latest techniques and tools in data science to contribute ideas for improving existing processes.
- Data-Driven Solutions: Assist in the development of data-driven solutions to address business challenges and enhance security posture.
- Collaboration on Reporting: Work with the team to produce analyses that support critical decision-making reports.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in data visualization tools; familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Cloud Computing: Interest in cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Eager Learner: Strong willingness to learn and adapt, with a passion for data analysis and its application in security and business decisions.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to identify patterns and insights within datasets, at an introductory level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework or experience in data science, statistics, or a related field.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts is a plus.
- Basic understanding of statistics, Machine Learning, and Deep LearningBasic knowledge in the use of pre-trained LLM tuning and generative AI
- Basic knowledge on API Restful development for ML deployment (Flask/FastAPI)MITRE attack framework knowledge
