Overview
As a Cyber Threat Detection and Response Analyst within Deutsche Bank's Chief Security Office, you will play a key role in protecting the Bank's global technology environment from evolving cyber threats. You will leverage threat intelligence, security monitoring tools, and analytical techniques to identify, investigate, and respond to security events across the organization. Working closely with global security, technology, and business teams, you will help strengthen the Bank's cyber defense capabilities through proactive threat hunting, incident analysis, and continuous improvement of detection and response processes. What You’ll Do
Analyze cyber threat intelligence and security events to identify risks relevant to Deutsche Bank and convert findings into actionable intelligence
Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM and security monitoring technologies
Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability analysis, and security investigations to proactively identify emerging threats and control weaknesses
Develop, maintain, and improve detection use cases, alerting logic, and security monitoring capabilities
Produce security reports, metrics, and management updates that provide meaningful insights into the Bank's threat landscape
Collaborate with global security, technology, and business stakeholders to support information security initiatives and strengthen cyber resilience
Skills You’ll Need
Proven experience within Information Security Operations, Security Monitoring, Threat Detection, or Incident Response environments
Hands-on experience with threat intelligence analysis, vulnerability assessment, and cyber threat investigation activities
Practical knowledge of SIEM platforms, including Splunk, and the ability to analyze security logs and events
Experience utilizing network and security analysis tools, such as Proofpoint, MDE, to support investigations and threat analysis
Relevant experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical findings to diverse audiences
Understanding of Identity and Access Management, Governance, Risk Management, or Vulnerability Management disciplines
Industry certifications such as CASP, CAP, Security+, CISSP, or related security credentials
Ability to work effectively across global teams in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $120,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
