About the role:
This role will assist Global Head of Cyber Reinsurance in the day-to-day duties in the management of the cyber reinsurance portfolio, and be primarily responsible for analyzing the portfolio using all available data. This is a newly created position in a growing line of business at Everest Reinsurance, and responsibilities can be flexible based on candidate’s level of expertise and skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Managing portfolio analytics

Using analytics and market insights to enhance underwriting practices

Monitoring performance of the cyber reinsurance portfolio

Communicating with underwriters and actuaries and other internal stakeholders, including senior executives
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Advanced Excel skills

Organized
Qualifications, Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum 5 years of work experience underwriting, claims, modeling, or actuarial

Minimum 3 years of experience cyber-related.

Attending industry conferences, client events, etc. as needed. Able to travel is preferred.

Collaborating with Enterprise Risk Management team for Cat Modeling

For CA and NYC: The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
