Role Value Proposition:
The Information Security Lead Consultant, will integrate the MetLife in Ireland as part of the EMEA Information Security team and be responsible under limited supervision, to provide key subject matter expertise, oversight and/or execution of MetLife Information Security Program in EMEA.
A successful candidate must have IT Risk Management and IT Control Frameworks expertise as well as be capable of building strong partnerships to help drive the program towards continuous improvement and alignment with the latest best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
The Information Security Lead Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Drive the Cyber Security regulatory alignment function within EMEA Information Security:
Keep track of all EMEA regulations concerning Cyber Security and Data Privacy.
Ensure alignment of new regulatory requirements with ongoing practices.
Provide recommendations on adjustments needed in order to keep EMEA IT General Controls framework and taxonomy current and updated.
Tracking and follow-up on remediation actions and plans completion.
• Review and proofing of IT General Security Controls as part of existing governance processes, including:
IT Control evidence testing and review for effectiveness against internal framework of IT controls and testing procedures.
Elaboration of reports of know and newly detected deficiencies and gaps.
Tracking and follow-up on remediation actions and plans completion.
• Support the IT Risk & Advisory function, including:
Guidance on IT Security Policies & Standards.
Participate on reviews and contractual negotiations with partner, vendors and customers alike.
Collaborate on activities related to IT related regulatory and audit security assessments and requests.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Candidate must have 5+ years of combined Risk, Compliance, Legal, Data Privacy or Information Security related work experience.
• Expertise and experiences in implementing & monitoring Information Security controls, practices, and technology for multiple levels within an organization.
• IT Risk Information Security Certification or similar preferred - e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, PCIP.
• Execution and results oriented; Ability to transparently execute against plan.
• Ability to work independently with a structured approach.
• Good analytical and report presentation skills.
• Good English language skills both oral as well as written.
Preferred:
• Experience in working within and with remote distributed teams.
• Additional languages knowledge preferable Arabic and/or Turkish .
• Experience analyzing controls evidence and performing data correlation.
• Experience GRC management tools.
