The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Cyber Security Directorate (CSD) Security Operations Center (SOC) is a US Government program responsible to prevent, identify, contain and eradicate cyber threats to CBP networks through monitoring, intrusion detection and protective security services to CBP information systems including local area networks/wide area networks (LAN/WAN), commercial Internet connection, public facing websites, wireless, mobile/cellular, cloud, security devices, servers and workstations. The CBP SOC is responsible for the overall security of CBP Enterprise-wide information systems, and collects, investigates, and reports any suspected and confirmed security violations.
Primary Responsibilities
Leidos is looking for a Cyber Operations Support Specialist with SharePoint experience to manage and update content on CSD SharePoint sites and manage and monitor taskers to ensure compliance from all CSD divisions to ensure the continuity and completeness of the content. The candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintain and optimize the structure, navigation, and layout of CSD SharePoint sites, administer and review user permissions, access control and compliance with CSD and CBP security policies.
- Provide support to CSD SharePoint site users, including troubleshooting common issues
- Ensure Section 508 Compliance across all SharePoint sites.
- Assisting the government in developing new/innovative ways to:
- Manage and monitor taskers that come to CSD
- Develop an annual operational calendar to identify all yearly operations and training calendars
- Develop, draft, and finalize new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, and playbooks
- Provide content support, editing, and formatting assistance for the CSD monthly

Basic Qualifications
- BS degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Additional experience or applicable certifications acceptable in lieu of degree.
- 4 - 8 years of experience with designing and developing within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, Portal, SharePoint, Automate, Dataverse), with an emphasis on SharePoint Online and Teams environments.
- Skilled in the design and maintenance of SharePoint/Teams applications, web pages and permission settings
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Power BI dashboard development.
- Requirements gathering, documentation and execution.
- Resourceful, requiring minimal direction – adept at identifying and utilizing approved resources to aid job tasks
- Must be able to report into the Ashburn VA office up to 5 days per week.

- Experience with automated reporting from Microsoft Configuration Manager and network system scans.
- Knowledge of website UX/UI best practices
- Experience as a SharePoint site collection administrator
