What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
- Vulnerability Research & Exploitation Support
- Identify, analyze, and validate security weaknesses in software, systems, or environments to inform operational and analytic capabilities.
- Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, or techniques aligned to investigative and technical operations.
- Rapid Development & Engineering
- Rapidly prototype, test, and deploy capabilities to support high-stakes mission needs and time-sensitive operational requirements.
- Support setup, maintenance, and administration of systems/components while adhering to organizational security policies.
- Automation, Repeatability & Tooling
- Build automation and developer utilities that improve analysis efficiency and workflow repeatability.
- Maintain source code and post-delivery documentation (user/admin guides, release notes, as-built architecture, troubleshooting).
- Operational Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Participate in working groups, mission syncs, and technical exchanges; contribute to informal and formal knowledge sharing.
- Deliver technical briefings or training tailored to your specialty area when required.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
- Citizenship & Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Experience & Technical Skill
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in vulnerability research and/or rapid development in mission environments.
- Strong ability to operate independently, prototype quickly, and produce reliable, supportable outputs under shifting priorities.
- Communication & Documentation
- Ability to document work clearly and produce professional technical deliverables and briefings.
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting cyber investigative missions or operations (law enforcement or national security).
- Comfort supporting exigent schedules (odd hours) and potential travel depending on tasking.
- Familiarity with version control and structured delivery (release notes, configuration records, “as-built” artifacts).
