What you'll do
- Be the go-to expert for CHEF iQ customers by phone, email, chat, and social media.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and app pairing so customers get back to cooking fast.
- Look up orders, inventory, and replacement parts, and make sure the right part goes to the right model every time.
- Handle warranty questions, returns, recalls, and terms of sale with care.
- Keep clean, detailed records of every interaction and own your follow-ups.
- Work alongside our Software, Hardware, and Product Development teams to share what customers are telling us.
What you bring
- 2+ years of customer support experience, ideally technical support.
- A knack for connectivity troubleshooting. You know your way around Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and devices that won't talk to each other.
- Experience in a CRM or ticketing system. Salesforce is a big plus.
- Working knowledge of Windows, networking basics, PC hardware, and Microsoft Office.
- A sharp eye for detail. Model numbers and part numbers don't trip you up.
- Strong writing and speaking skills, plus a friendly, upbeat way with people.
- You can juggle a busy queue and still give every customer your full attention.
- A quiet home workspace and reliable internet for the remote period.
- Bonus points: You're bilingual in Spanish or French.

The fine print
This role is based out of our Mahwah, NJ office. You'll start remote and move to a hybrid schedule in the office within 12 months, so you'll need to live within commuting distance. Expect occasional in-person training and team sessions in Mahwah along the way.

- Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Mahwah, New Jersey
- Must be comfortable transitioning to an in-office role within 12 months
- Minimum of two years of customer support experience
- Strong English reading and writing skills
- Friendly, professional, customer-focused communication style
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Tech-savvy and able to learn product connectivity and troubleshooting quickly
- Knowledge of Windows, networking, standard PC hardware, Microsoft Office, and common software
