Most renewable power plant operators struggle to sell all of the energy they generate. We build flexible data centers to buy & use all of their wasted energy. So they earn profits & tax credits for every megawatt they produce.

What You'll Do

Our ideal Customer Success Lead  – with experience in business development and a passion for energy and power – will be an integral contributor to the next generation of our business. You'll be responsible for the successful deployment  of Soluna’s data center hosting customers, from relationship development to their experience with our facilities and hosting services. You will drive continuous improvements of the standardized customer service capabilities to be up to date with the current best practices in close collaboration with Soluna stakeholders, subject matter experts and operations peers. Reporting into the VP, Corporate Development, the Customer Success Lead will own the specific systems for a customer experience that integrates hosting standards, relationship expectations, operational standards and performance metrics with Soluna’s first-class customer service reputation. You will be a resourceful self-starter and exquisite communicator, adding value through intellectual curiosity and strong interpersonal skills.

You will:

  • Participate in the business development of new customers to ensure Soluna standards and capabilities are threaded through their entire experience. 

  • Own the onboarding process of new customers, ensure relationship items are integrated into relevant workflows.

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with Soluna partners and customers.

  • Be the internal champion of customers needs, terms and expectations while balancing being the external champion of our operations team.

  • Identify new opportunities for customer relationship expansion and evolvement

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer stakeholders, industry partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Drive the successful delivery of our services according to the customer relationship objectives.

  • Effectively communicate the progress of daily, weekly and long term initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Forecast and track key account metrics, raise flags when goals and KPI’s may be at risk.

  • Build on Soluna’s already outstanding internal and external reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

  • Responsible for keeping current customers satisfied and delivering exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  •  3+ years of experience related to customer services and/or business development
  • 2+ years of experience in mining/cryptocurrency. 

  • Experience driving first class customer service in a rapidly scaling environment

  • Ability to demonstrate how to work through multiple company functions and how they connect

  • Demonstrate the ability to handle conflicts to solve uncharted, ambiguous, cross-functional problems with grace and integrity

  • Strong interpersonal skills, resiliency, and ability to lead with data and action

  • Ability to educate stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams

  • Interest in renewable energy a huge plus

  • Excellent analytical ability

  • Attention to detail and desire to learn
