Cisco Meraki is looking for a smart, motivated, and data-driven Allocation Specialist to support our planning and shipping departments. This position will be responsible for assisting with managing the allocation of inventory to orders. The ability to consider multiple variables to ensure orders are shipping at the right time with the right quantities will be key to the success of this role.
The ideal candidate will look forward to working cross-functionally with various departments and thrive on providing superb internal customer service. In addition, we are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter, who enjoys collaborating, is looking to continuously learn and grow and is not afraid of getting their hands dirty in Excel.
What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Global Distribution Planner to help Meraki maximize revenue shipments and customer satisfaction. This is a role in a fast-growing team and company, and has a high impact on achieving company goals. Responsibilities include:

• Proactively allocate products, taking into consideration anticipated demand and inbound production
• Work with Sales/Demand Planning/Allocations to manage order shipment escalations and develop shipping plans for major accounts
• Analyze and anticipate out-of-stocks and large deals - provide company wide communication to keep multiple sales channels in alignment
• Act as the central hub for all allocation movement and questions
• Work with demand planning and shipping teams to improve and develop processes
• Maintain documentation records of requests, committed items, and aging inventory
• Provide ad hoc analysis for the Demand Planning team and other stakeholders
