Job Description:

As an Automotive Sales Consultant at Leif Johnson Automotive, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase process. You will provide a high level of customer service, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our dealership. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and staying informed about current promotions and incentives.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a welcoming and professional manner
  • Understand customer needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations
  • Present and demonstrate vehicle features, options, and benefits
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory, pricing, promotions, and incentives
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers on financing and leasing options
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed monthly sales targets
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular follow-up and post-sale support
  • Attend and participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in sales or a related field is an asset
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
