Ethena is looking for a Customer Success Engineer who sits at the intersection of technical implementation, product expertise, and AI-powered workflows. This isn't a traditional CSM role — you'll be central to how new customers get onboarded and configured, using AI tools to move faster and build smarter than a traditional implementation function. You'll work closely with our Account Management team to ensure customers go live quickly, integrate deeply, and expand confidently.
We're hiring this role at either the Associate or Senior level. Apply once — we'll assess where you land during the process and match the offer to the experience you bring. Where expectations differ by level, we've noted it below. You'll have a manager invested in coaching you as you ramp.
What You'll Do
Own technical implementation for your book of customers — HRIS integrations, SSO setup, LMS connectors, API configurations, and assignment automation logic.
At the Associate level you'll start with mid-market accounts and grow into enterprise; at the Senior level you'll own complex enterprise implementations from the start.
Use, extend and build AI-powered workflows to automate repeatable implementation tasks (e.g., launch requirements, config QA, onboarding documentation generation)
Partner with AMs to run discovery on technical requirements during kickoffs and translate them into scoped implementation plans
Serve as the primary technical point of contact during onboarding, reducing time-to-value for new customers
Diagnose and resolve integration issues, working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering when needed
Work from our implementation playbooks and documentation, and flag where the process could be more efficient.
- At the Senior level, you'll own improving them — using AI tooling like AI Training Builder, internal Compass workflows, and vibe-coding your own apps
Contribute to the scaled enablement motion by building reusable templates, guides, and self-serve assets
What We're Looking For
Experience in a Customer Success, CS Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Implementation Consulting, or Technical CSM role — ideally at a SaaS company
Hands-on technical experience with tools like HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, HiBob), SSO (SAML 2.0), or API-based integrations — or a track record of picking up unfamiliar technical systems fast
Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and solve customer problems — not just "familiar with AI," but actually building workflows that save time and reduce manual work
Excitement to take troubleshooting work off an engineer’s plate and solve a problem yourself
Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and interest in building process where none exists
Strong written communication skills; you can explain technical concepts to non-technical compliance buyers
- Passion for what we're building at Ethena and strong alignment with our core values.
Bonus: experience in compliance, HR tech, or legal tech
Skills Required
- 3-5 years in a CS Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or Technical CSM role
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, Hibob)
- SSO setup and SAML 2.0 experience
- API-based integrations and API configuration experience (REST APIs)
- Experience with LMS connectors and assignment automation logic
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to build workflows that improve efficiency
- Strong written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical buyers
- Comfort troubleshooting integrations and reducing engineering involvement
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and building processes
- Experience at a SaaS company
- Experience in compliance, HR tech, or legal tech
