The Domain Architect is responsible for defining and implementing the Core domain-wide strategy for Application(Cloud network function) deployment automation and AI-enabled Automation SW development and delivery across various Nokia blueprint as well as customized product teams. The role requires deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, Network function deployment automation frameworks, CI/CD ecosystems, and the application of AI capabilities to optimize development workstreams, operational efficiency and delivery velocity. The architect will drive scalable, maintainable automation solutions, enable self-healing delivery pipelines, and mentor teams in modern DevOps and AI-assisted SW engineering practices.
Responsibilities- Lead requirement analysis, solution alignment, and end-to-end architecture activities, including HLD, LLD, CIQ validation and solution governance.
- Define migration strategies, provide technical leadership, and guide implementation activities across the complete migration lifecycle.
- Drive customization discussions, RCA execution, escalation management, and resolution of technical issues in collaboration with Care, R&D and cross-functional teams.
- Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and delivery readiness activities to ensure successful solution deployment and adoption.
- Promote innovation through automation, AI-driven solutions, next-generation delivery practices, and close collaboration with R&D/Development team on product enhancements.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in architecting software, IT, or telecom solutions.
- Exhibit extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, containerized application deployments.
- Proven experience in defining Cloud-native architectures and delivering those solutions to the market.
- Experience working effectively in global organizations, with strong communication, motivational and technical leadership skills.
- Prior design and application deployment experience in custom solution and applications products.
Nice-to-Have:
- Telecom domain exposure (Packet Core, 4G/5G, network protocols, cloud-native network functions) and Experience in implementing autonomous deployment platforms or AI-driven operational automation.
- Knowledge of MLOps, AI platform operations and deployment of AI/ML workloads in cloud-native environments and Certifications in cloud platforms or AI/ML specialties
