The Solution Architect will work closely with customer technical teams to understand requirements and deliver E2E enterprise solutions (4G/5G), including high-level and low-level design, test planning, integration, deployment, and configuration. The role demands deep expertise in EPC and 5GC core elements across OpenStack and Kubernetes environments, with strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities. Knowledge of networking protocols and telecom standards is essential. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt quickly in learning-as-you-work settings are critical for success.
Responsibilities- Gathering customer requirement and should be able to deliver high level design, low level design, preparing test plan, integration, deployment, configuration of EPC & 5GC packet core components for cloud-based environment and appliance deliveries.
- Lead design, integration, deployment, and testing of Packet Core elements (EPC & 5GC) for enterprise solutions.
- Collaborate with customer technical teams to support E2E solution for enterprise customers.
- Produce high-level and low-level designs, test plans, and configuration artifacts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during deployment and operations.
- Ensure alignment with 4G/5G standards and best practices across customer environments.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud platforms (OpenStack/Kubernetes) and core telecom technologies.
Must Have:
- 12+ years in telecom network delivery (4G/5G) experience.
- Knowledge of 4G and 5G call flows, and overall knowledge of the latest technologies in the Telecom space including EPC, 5GC, VoLTE, IoT etc.
- Knowledge of 3GPP specs (e.g., 23.401, 23.501, 23.502).
- Experience in deployment of EPC & 5GC network functions on OpenStack and containerized cloud environments.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routes, eBGP, OSPF and IP subnetting, switching stack.
- Knowledge of tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, putty, FileZilla, MobaXterm, etc.
- Experience in Nokia products like CMM, CMG, CMU or APC shall be preferred.
Good to have:
- Knowledge on Radio, Routers, NMS from overall network perspective.
- Experience in IMS/VoLTE, RAN, HSS and UDM is an added advantage.
