Customer Solution Specialist
Location: Casablanca, Morocco
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Solution Specialist to provide technical and layout support to our Sales and Delivery teams, helping develop and implement KONE products and solutions that meet customer requirements.
In this role, you will take ownership of CAD, layout and technical documentation, ensuring drawings and solution data are accurate, up to date and meet KONE’s quality and compliance requirements. You will work across both the Sales and Delivery processes, supporting projects from tender through to final documentation.
What you will do
- Provide technical and layout support to the Sales team to develop and sell KONE products and solutions.
- Take ownership of CAD and layout drawing activities, including 2D, 3D and BIM where applicable.
- Localise tender layouts, shop drawings and local material drawings to meet customer and local requirements.
- Perform technical feasibility checks and support the development of effective and cost-efficient solutions.
- Assist with design proposals and provide technical support to consultants.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and document solution designs.
- Coordinate BIM solutions with Supply Line and provide the required technical information to Front Line teams.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including approval documents, compliance documents, manuals and as-built drawings.
- Create final shop order drawings, M-drawings and E-Link documentation.
- Manage drawing revisions and ensure all changes are accurately incorporated.
- Support change order processes, including variations and additional works.
- Provide installation and builder drawings where required.
- Ensure proposed solutions comply with applicable codes, regulations and safety requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings where technical and layout-related discussions are required.
- Maintain high-quality, accurate and up-to-date solution documentation and contribute to the KONE CSE knowledge base.
What you bring
- 2–3 years of AutoCAD experience, preferably in a technical, engineering or design environment.
- Good understanding of technical drawings and layout processes.
- Experience with BIM and real-time co-design tools would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of technical documentation and workflow management.
- Understanding of quality management principles and processes.
- Basic knowledge of relevant technical norms and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of English.
- Good IT literacy; SAP experience would be an advantage.
