JOB DESCRIPTION
UL Solutions' Retail & Consumer Products business unit in Istanbul, Turkey is a market leading provider of TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) services to the retail industry. Our Istanbul laboratories are specialists in testing softline consumer products such as textiles, apparel, footwear and soft home furnishings. We are the primary testing partner for a large number of fortune 500 retailers.
The team is now seeking a Customer Services Representative to organise and coordinate customer account work in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
Reporting to the Client Services Supervisor, you will work closely with internal departments to ensure that our customers receive a first class experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organise and coordinate assign customer account work in a timely and profitable manner.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Support Services, Quality Assurance, Sales, Business Development and other affiliated stakeholders to ensure that customers experience a superior service.
  • Prepare customer proposals, report specifications, technical information, etc.
  • Provide technical consulting services to customers directly and/or through coordination with internal technical team.
  • Follow up on inquiry calls; respond to specific customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in trade shows and technical conferences when necessary.
  • Work with business support to bill customers in a timely, concise, and profitable manner.
  • Provide technical support to in house employees as required.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of procedures, customer requirements, and technical subject matter and utilize that knowledge to provide superior service and manage programs.
  • Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Performs other duties as directed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree or equivalent, plus one year of directly-related work experience.
  • A recent University Graduate will also be considered
  • Familiarity with industry associations, technical committees, industry best practice which would add value for customer program management.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet, Access, e-mail and other company Software programs (i.e., LIMS, Advantage, etc.).
  • Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients.
  • Must be able to identify problems and offer workable solutions.
