Role Overview:
Could you be our next Part-Time Customer Retention Representative? American Income Life is looking for a Part-time Customer Retention Representative to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for conserving business on behalf of the Company. You’ll be a vital part of a dedicated, professional team. Representatives play a key role in ensuring that customers who call in with the intention of canceling are aided in understanding the importance of keeping their coverage, as well as providing policy maintenance.
This is a remote / work from home position. We have Part-Time positions available as well as morning and evening shifts.
What You Will Do:
- Answering questions regarding coverage, premium and other policy information.
- Composing business letters, communicating effectively through written and verbal communication.
- Working independently and making judgment decisions is required.
- Making outbound calls to existing policyholders to collect delinquent premium payments.
- Reselling the benefits of our policies and providing excellent customer service.
- Using various sales techniques to help increase the retention of our policyholders.
- Recording policyholder information for reporting and transactional purposes.
- Extensive telephone contact and appropriate telephone skills are required.
- Discretion and tact must be used in providing service to customers.
- Monday to Friday schedules, no weekends.
- Additional production incentive pays after the training period.
- Bilingual (Spanish) hourly pay differential.
What You Can Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, required.
- Minimum Typing speed of 30 wpm required
- Experience in a call center environment preferred.
- Some experience in insurance and/or sales is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve complex policyholder issues with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of life and/or health insurance terminology preferred.
